What Are Florida Impact Fees?
Florida impact fees are one-time charges assessed by local governments on new development to help pay for the public infrastructure needed to serve that development. Florida law (Section 163.31801, Florida Statutes) governs how counties and municipalities may adopt, collect, and spend impact fees.
